For new guests, our first appointment includes extra time to explore your hair history, goals, lifestyle, and what’s worked (or hasn’t) before. Future visits are shorter—but just as personalized.
Q: What happens after my first visit?
After your first appointment, we’ll have a clear plan for your future visits—whether that means maintenance, transformation, or seasonal refreshes. Most follow-ups are shorter, since we’ve already done the groundwork together. Everything we do builds from there.
Q: What if you’re fully booked?
If you don’t see availability online, I invite you to join the waitlist or email me. Cancellations happen occasionally, and I’d love to get you in when the timing aligns.
Q: Do you offer gift cards?

Pricing at The Hair Mansion is time-based. Each service reflects the estimated time required to complete it.
If additional time is needed—due to length, thickness, or complexity—charges are added at $30 per 15 minutes.
New Guest appointments include extended time for an in-depth consultation and custom design, which is reflected in the first-visit cost. You deserve a visit that’s all about you.
Q: Do I need to leave Gratuity?
No tipping necessary. The Hair Mansion is a gratuity-free salon—pricing reflects the full experience.
Thoughtfully designed services, elevated care, and transparency are all part of the value I offer. I want you to feel completely cared for—without the awkward moment at checkout.

I accept all major credit cards (including American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Venmo, and cash.

Q: Do you offer fringe trims?
Yes—fringe maintenance is always complimentary for existing guests.
If you’re looking to create a new fringe or make a significant change to your shape, please book a full Hair Design service so we have the time and detail it deserves.
Q: What products do you use during services?
I work with a curated blend of high-performance brands, including J Beverly Hills Color, BlondMe, Malibu, Kevin Murphy Treat Me, and K18.
Every formula is selected based on your hair’s current condition, goals, and the look we’re creating—because your needs aren’t one-size-fits-all, and your products shouldn’t be either.
Q: Can I purchase hair products during my visit?
Absolutely. I carry a curated selection of J Beverly Hills, K18, Style Edit, and Schwarzkopf favorites—chosen for performance and ingredient integrity.
You’re welcome to shop in-salon or online, and I’m always happy to recommend what will support your hair best between visits.
Q: Can I bring someone with me?
I want every appointment to feel calm, personal, and fully focused—so I design the space for one-on-one time.
That said, if you’d like to bring someone with you, just let me know in advance. As long as it won’t impact another guest’s experience, I’m happy to accommodate.

Q: What are your upscale hair studio hours?
I see guests by appointment during the following hours:
Wednesday & Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Closed Sunday through Tuesday
All appointments are one-on-one and by reservation—this ensures a personalized, uninterrupted experience every time.
Q: What happens if I’m late or need to cancel?
Life happens—I get it.
If you’re running more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule to protect the experience for the next guest.
Missed or last-minute cancellations (within 24 hours) will require a $30 rescheduling fee before booking your next appointment.

Q: Where are you located?
The Hair Mansion is located inside Sola Salons in Reading, MA—right between Cosmoprof and K&G, and just steps from Market Basket.
You’ll find us in the large brick building you can’t miss, with convenient parking and easy access from Main Street.
Free parking is available in the lot, and Sola’s entrance is located between Cosmoprof and K&G.
